twas a good Christmas for me and my family.

not so wonderful for others.

a close friend of mine’s mother passed last Friday.

but she is doing great, she is a strong person who loves God and knows He will get her through this.

i got great gifts and got to spend time with my family which was great.

ate good food.

and played guitar hero 3.

and played with my new ipod.

tonsil surgery.

gah.

at least i won’t get strep throat anymore and i could probably loose a few pounds from not being able to eat.

well wish me luck and pray for me even more.

EDIT:

my tonsil removal went well.

the doctor said that my tonsils were chronically infected and it was only a matter of time before i got strep throat again, and would have it over and over again like have my whole life.

as scared as i was and as much pain as i have been in and still am in, i am thankful that they came out when they did.

is Christmas.

secular songs can have Christian thoughts.

or people can interpret them to be Christian.

i know i am lost without God and Jesus.

 

 

so last night i went to CCC and it was their c-mas cantata.

and they had a video that interpreted the meanings of c-mas songs.

 

in the title for God rest ye, merry gentlemen  over time we have misplaced the comma.

the comma was originally after  merry, not ye.

the definition of  merry at the time the song was written meant great and powerful.

the rest means to arrest or we would say today to keep.

so the title of the song really means God keeps you powerful, gentlemen.

 

and when people wish you a merry Christmas, they are wishing you a powerful time with Christ.

mas mean time with.

so that is how i say that.

 

i bet that changes you views on some of our beloved c-mas sayings and songs.

 

So may everyone have a powerful time with Christ this Christmas holiday and remember that God will keep you powerful in the new year!

lead to me putting in a lip ring that my mother told me to take out.

oh well.

i like it.

i hate that she smokes.

smoking will kill you.

a lip piercing won’t.

i love her despite she smokes.

she loves me, and she should despite piercings.
